Chocolate Boxes

I don't know if they still sell chocolate boxes with landscapes on the front, but for the sake of this post, they do...right.  It was the most beautiful day of the winter on Friday past and I went for a run up Sale Fell, and then to Barf which I'll mention in a later post. And, like a brand new Lakes tourist, I couldn't help but photograph it!

What a blatant hypocrite...like gorging on a naughty wedge of chocolate cake, my senses are aroused as I take the picture...before feeling ill when I download another chocolate box image from the camera - ha!  My hubby loves these btw!! So I thought I would create a 'spoof' chocolate box series to satiate this desire. Yep, done, put it behind me...well, until the next time!!

    We also get occasional outbreaks of this sort of thing north of the border with shortbread boxes!

    Ha, now I always thought they used the red kilt pattern on shortbread boxes...maybe the imports to England do!!!

    I'm sure there's a market out there. You could make the chocolates to go in the box as well.
