  1. Starting to get on top of the technique I see. Will you be adding sound?

  2. Sat there for ages waiting for you to pop out from behind another rock. You didn't; so I reloaded and watched again. Is it you?

  3. I don't think gif files can play sound, but I might be wrong. And Vicki, it isn't me, I set up the camera and waited...

I like the idea of capturing the odd candid or quirky moment with this technique, a bit like moving street photography, but we'll see, can't run before you can walk. At the moment it's about mastering the technique.

  4. I think the lack of sound is part of the fascination - it's so nearly a still image. The mood reminds me of some of Mark Power's videos - which are also silent. http://www.markpower.co.uk/Video-Projects/Saadiyat

  5. It's coming along very well. The disappearance behind the rock is just right for transient figures in the eternal landscape.

  6. Yes Eileen I can see what you mean about the Mark Power videos...they are almost dull, but something makes you continue to watch them...the less there is, the more there is to find.

And Catherine, I like your interpretation very much...when the rain finally stops, I may try some more.
